Building Walls Higher Than HousesIn the finer pieces of the movement we could discern just the right amount of music to sweep our spirits up into the tempo and rhythm. We threw away our thoughts of daily, mundane things and soared through the airs of majestic wizardry. I swear I could have seen an elephant fly and it would have struck me as being no more unusual than the little boy playing with his toys across the street. But soon the music changed in theme and form and we were brought back to earth with a very solemn, sober march. We wondered how long it would be before we could soar free again. |
